Courtlands is on Paddock Road just off Victoria Avenue. The High Street and shopping centre are a short walk away as is the Old Village.
Shanklin is the final stop on the train from Ryde Pierhead. The Wightlink Fastcat ferry service operates from the pierhead providing quick access to the mainland for foot passengers and the Hovertravel service operates from Ryde Esplanade to Southsea. A regular bus service travels from Shanklin to all the other towns and sites on the Island.
